Trust and safety on Tasklify

By Tasklify TeamUpdated 5 min read

A marketplace only works if both sides can trust it. Workers need to know they will be paid fairly for honest work; businesses need to know the results are real. These are the rules and safeguards we use, in plain words. The binding version is in our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.

What is allowed: genuine work and honest opinions

Tasks should ask for something a real person genuinely does: install and use an app, try a website, answer questions truthfully, enter data carefully, or share an honest opinion about something they actually used. Social tasks must involve real accounts and genuine interest, and people must follow the rules of the platform involved, including disclosing incentivised content where the platform or the law requires it.

What is not allowed

Businesses may not post, and workers may not complete, tasks that involve:

  • fake reviews presented as genuine customer experiences, or rating manipulation on platforms that forbid it;
  • creating accounts with false identities, buying or selling accounts, or bypassing CAPTCHA, age or identity checks;
  • clicking ads or generating artificial traffic, views or installs;
  • harassment, hate speech, defamation, or adult content;
  • malware, phishing, or collecting passwords or personal data without a lawful basis;
  • gambling, lending, investment schemes, crypto airdrop farming or MLM recruitment;
  • anything illegal or that would put workers at legal risk.

Workers may not use bots, scripts or emulators, misrepresent their country or device (for example with a VPN), submit edited or reused proof, run more than one account, or collude with businesses to farm bonuses.

How we prevent fraud

  • Pre-funded tasks. A task only goes live once its full reward budget is paid in, so approved work is always backed by money.
  • Duplicate detection. Reused screenshots and copy-pasted answers are flagged to the business automatically.
  • One person, one account. We look for accounts that share devices or networks and review them before payouts.
  • Payout checks. First withdrawals from very new accounts are reviewed, and identity verification is required above a withdrawal threshold. Payouts to sanctioned or blocklisted addresses are refused.
  • Card payments via Stripe, including Stripe’s own fraud screening. Full card numbers never reach our servers.

Fair reviews and disputes

Businesses must review within the window they chose (24 hours to 7 days) and may reject only for a reason tied to the published instructions, stated in writing. They can ask for changes once instead of rejecting. If a worker thinks a rejection is wrong, they can open a dispute within 7 days; both sides add evidence and our team decides, normally within 48 hours, based on the instructions and the proof. Repeated unjustified rejections by a business, or repeated unfounded disputes by a worker, lead to restrictions.

How we protect workers

  • You see the reward, time estimate and proof requirements before you reserve anything.
  • Rewards are held from the moment a task is published, and auto-approve protects you from employers who never review.
  • We never charge workers to join, unlock tasks or withdraw; the only withdrawal cost is the network fee.
  • Your email and payment details are never shown to businesses; they see your username and the proof you submit.
Scammers sometimes pretend to be task platforms. Tasklify will never message you on WhatsApp or Telegram offering a “job”, ask you to “recharge” a balance, or ask you to send crypto to unlock earnings. Read how to spot task scams.

How we protect businesses

  • You only pay for approved work; unused slots and rejected submissions are returned to your balance.
  • You choose who can take a task: country, device, approval rate and experience.
  • You can block individual workers and see flags on suspicious submissions.
  • Workers caught faking proof are banned, and their unpaid balances are forfeited.

Reporting a problem

If a task looks wrong, do not complete it. Use Report this task on the task page, or email [email protected] with the link and a short description. For account, payout or billing questions, see contact and support.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tasklify safe to use?

Tasklify is run by Tasklify Ltd. in the UK, rewards are pre-funded before tasks go live, card payments go through Stripe, and every task is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. As with any online service, protect your passwords and never pay anyone who promises to unlock earnings.

Will a task ever ask me for money?

No legitimate Tasklify task asks you to pay, buy something to be reimbursed later, deposit crypto or share passwords to your other accounts. Report any task that does.

What happens to accounts that cheat?

Accounts using bots, fake proof or multiple accounts are suspended or banned, and balances earned that way are forfeited. Businesses whose related deposits funded that work get them back.

How do I report a problem?

Use “Report this task” on the task page, or email [email protected] with the task link and what happened. For account or payment issues, contact [email protected].
